Welcome to the first edition of our monthly online
newsletter, "Inside The Box". Every month we'll show you
how to get more out of your EarthBox, whether you're growing flowers,
herbs, vegetables -- or even fruit trees.
I'm General Manager Frank DiPaolo, and I'd like to start
out by giving you a tour of our recently redesigned web site. It offers a wealth of useful resources,
including:
The Forum. Some 1,000
EarthBox enthusiasts regularly share information and ideas in this section of our web site. You'll find
instructions on plant combinations for your EarthBox, how to grow
specific species, what fertilizers to use, plant spacing, staking
methods, and much more. In addition, there are hundreds of photos and
recipes posted by other users. For parents and educators, there's
even a section devoted to the EarthBox as an educational tool.
Please
visit, chat with others, ask questions, and share your own ideas,
stories, suggestions, and photos.
Information Just For You. There are four sections on the new site, each of which
can be accessed by means of tabs across the top: Consumers, Dealers,
Educators and Commercial Farming.
Consumers will find advice on what to grow, complete
instructions and FAQs, and a link to request our new catalog.
Prospective dealers can learn the benefits of selling
the EarthBox, and how to get started.
To Educators, we offer our Educational EarthBox, a
versatile, easy-to-use instructional and recreational tool.
Commercial farmers can study the environmental and
economic benefits of growing their products in EarthBoxes.
Shop Til You Drop. If you're
looking for EarthBox accessories such as staking systems or
replacement covers, please visit our online store or request a catalog. You can also visit one of our
retailers. To find a store near you, use our web site's convenient dealer locator feature.
We hope you'll join us for next month's issue, in which
we'll help you get your EarthBox ready for the season. Meanwhile,
please email us with questions, suggestions, ideas, photos, recipes
and stories. We want to truly make this your newsletter, reflecting
your interests and concerns.
We look forward to hearing from you and seeing your
photos. Happy and healthy harvests to you!
Sincerely,
